Kaukauna domestic incident suspect arrest in Michigan Tuesday

KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) - Michigan State Police have arrested a Kaukauna man wanted for a weekend domestic disturbance.

On Monday, Kaukuana police said they were looking for 37-year-old James E. Anderson for his involvement in a domestic incident with a female in Kaukauna and Little Chute Saturday.

Authorities considered Anderson armed and dangerous.

Police now say Anderson had threatened the female with a gun, and forced her to drive a vehicle from the 500 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue to the 300 block of W. Main Street in Little Chute.

Police say the victim escaped from the vehicle and contacted police.

Michigan State Police found Anderson and arrested him Tuesday morning. Authorities did not say where in Michigan he was found.

Charges against Anderson have been referred to the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office.
