Wily Peralta brought his A game against the NL Central Leading St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday night at Busch Stadium. The young right hander had a no hitter going through the first five innings but after walking a batter in the sixth, Matt Holliday broke up the no hit and shutout bid with a long, two run homer as the Cardinals went on to win 4-2, maintaining their one game lead over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the division chase. Peralta gave up another run in the 7th and was tagged with his 15th loss, working six and two thirds, allowing just two hits. The Cardinals lead grew to 4-0 before Logan Schaefer hit a two run homer of closer Edward Mujica in the ninth inning. Shelby Miller got the win, working six and two thirds scoreless innings, scattering five hits. The St. Louis rookie is 3-0 against the Brewers this year.
