WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - A multi-vehicle crash in Waupaca County leaves five people hurt and a traffic problems for hours Monday afternoon.
Authorities say it happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 10 near County Highway U, north of Fremont, around 1:40 p.m.
Officials say a truck ran into a manure spreader, then swerved into oncoming traffic when it was struck by a semi.
Two of the five people hurt were flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is being detoured as follows: from Hwy. 10 exit at Co. Hwy. U, take Co. Hwy. U west to Railroad Grade Rd., back to Hwy. 10.
There is no word on how long that portion of highway will be closed.
