OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - A competency exam has been ordered for a man charged in an attempted child abduction incident in Oshkosh. 51-year-old Timothy Sullivan was ordered by a Winnebago County Judge to undergo a mental evaluation and ordered to stand trial for the October 5th incident.
Sullivan allegedly tried to entice three girls who were playing in their front yard with the promise of bringing them to grandma’s house to bake cookies.
Sullivan is a registered sex offender following a conviction for an incident in the year 2000 where he exposed himself to a female in a parking lot. Days later, he approached her second time and grabbed her, but she was able to get away.
Sullivan is facing six felony charges includes attempted kidnapping.
Sullivan returns to court November 21st.
