MINNEAPOLIS (WTAQ) - It was a lot of offensive fireworks, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers defeat the Minnesota Vikings 44-31 Sunday night.
Packers receiver Jordy Nelson led the way for the green and gold, catching 7 passes for 123 yards and both of those touchdowns thrown by number 12.
The Packers (5-2) also ran for 182 net yards, while rookie Micah Hyde had a 93 yard punt return for a touchdown.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had just 60 yards rushing for a TD. Former Packers receiver Greg Jennings caught one pass for 9 yards. Rookie receiver Cordarrelle Patterson returned the opening kickoff 109 yards for a touchdown.
The Vikings fall further in the basement of the NFC North Division to 1-6.
