GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The Packers have announced the closure of the Hall of Fame in the basement of the Atrium at Lambeau Field.
It will close November 18th as part of a three level shake-up between Curly’s Pub, the Pro Shop and Hall of Fame. A new east gate will also be constucted after the season ends.
The lower level, where the Hall of Fame is now, will become the new Pro Shop with entrances on the east and north. The current Pro Shop will remain open until the it's new location is ready to open in July of 2014. The east gate will also at that time.
On December 2nd, the game area of Curly’s Pub will close.
The Hall of Fame will be relocated on the first and second floors of the Atrium. A selection of the exhbits and memorabila will be loaned to the Neville Public Museum until it reopens in April of 2015. Construction is expected to begin after the Pro Shop moves.
Curley’s Pub will remain open throughout much of the construction but will close for a brief period in February of 2015. The new restaurant, which may not carry the Curly's Pub name again, will open in April of 2015.
