MADSON (WSAU-Wheeler News) There's a delay in opening the "Snuggle House" in Madison. It's a place where people go to be cuddled and held. The owner Matthew Hurtado told WKOW-TV there will be security cameras in every room and the business will not violate any laws. Some members of the city council in Madison have been concerned about possible prostitution.
In other cities, a one hour "hug session" costs $100. Being cuddled and hugged all night costs upwards of $400.
City officials say the opening is delayed because a proper business plan hasn't been filed, and the all of the permits are not in place.
The would-be business is offering free hugs on Capitol Square in Madison from the people trying to open the Snuggle House. A Facebook posting says the hugs will start at 11 am.
