(WNFL) - Anna Beckerleg of U-W Oshkosh has been named the W-I-A-C women's soccer defensive player-of-the-year.  And Jenna Woodson of Whitewater received the top season honors on offense.  Beckerleg, a junior defender, led an Oshkosh defense that had eight shutouts this season, with a one-point-one-five goals-against average.  She also scored nine points in becoming the first Oshkosh player ever to win a player-of-the-year award.  Woodson, a sophomore forward, led the W-I-A-C with 10 assists and was eighth in scoring with 16 points.  Ryan Quamme of Whitewater was named the league's top coach for the second straight year.  The Warhawks won both the W-I-A-C regular season and tournament crowns, on their way to their third straight N-C-A-A Division-Three tournament appearance.  Woodson made her second straight all-conference team.  Other repeat selections on the 22-member squad are Allie Stone and Ashley O'Connell of Eau Claire -- Jordan Myers, Sarah Sedlar, and Laren Nashleanas of Whitewater -- Sarah Eck of Platteville -- and Chelsea Kierszh of Oshkosh.
