GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) - With Donald Driver retired from the Packers his summer hosting job of the annual charity softball game is being passed to Jordy Nelson.
The announcement came Tuesday from the Timber Rattlers.
Driver has been hosting the game since 2008. This past summer’s game raised $115,000.
Players from the Packers offense typically square off against the defense.
The charity game was started with Brett Favre back in 2000.
The next game will be held on June 8, 2014 at 1:05 p.m. at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.
