PULASKI, WI (WTAQ) - Hobart-Lawrence police say they have cited a Pulaski school board member for hosting an underage drinking party.
According to a police report, officers issued Christine Vandenhouten a $366 ticket early on May 12 at her village of Hobart home. Ten Pulaski High School students, including her son, were also given citations.
Pulaski School Board President Trina Townsend told FOX 11 News no disciplinary action can be taken against Vandenhouten because she holds an elected position. Townsend said she could not comment further about the situation.
In addition to her position on the school board, Vandenhouten also works as an assistant professor in the School of Nursing at UW-Green Bay.
According to the Pulaski Community School District website, Vandenhouten is up for re-election next spring. She is currently in her first three-year term on the board.
