UNDATED (WSAU-Wheeler News) The third-largest jackpot in Powerball history will be up for grabs on Wednesday night. It jumped to $350-million, after nobody won the top prize on Saturday night.
One player from Wisconsin won $40,000 by having the Power Play option, and matching four regular numbers plus the Powerball. Another ticket sold in the Badger State won $10,000 the same way, but without the Power Play. Almost 26,000 players in Wisconsin won something. Half of those won four-dollars just by matching the Powerball.
Saturday’s numbers were 6, 13, 19, 23, and 43. The Powerball was 16.
The jackpot is the game’s biggest since last November, when two winners split a $587-million prize. The cash option for Wednesday night is almost $223-million, for a single winner who takes the whole prize now instead of in 30 annual installments.
In Mega Millions, the jackpot is at $170-million for tomorrow night.
