CRANDON, WI (WTAQ) - Jurors in northeast Wisconsin are hearing their second day of testimony in the trial of a Crandon man charged in a drunk driving death.

47-year-old Norbert Polar is facing six criminal charges in the death of 41-year-old Klynt Decorah on New Year’s Day of 2012 in the Forest County town of Nashville.

Prosecutors said Decorah was walking along Highway 55 when he was struck by a vehicle.

Forest County Sheriff John Dennee later found Polar’s car off the road, and he was later arrested for his 5th OWI incident. His current charges include homicide by drunk driving, hit-and-run involving death, and driving with a suspended license.
