The Milwaukee Brewers played their projected opening day lineup against a split squad from the Kansas City Royals in their final spring home game Wednesday, winning easily 9-1. Yovani Gallardo looked sharp in his final tune-up, allowing a run on two hits in six and a third innings. Alex Gonzalez, the expected starter at first base because of injuries to Corey Hart and Mat Gamel, hit a home run for the Brewers. Kyle Lohse will make his Brewer debut in the final Cactus League game against Colorado on Thursday. The Brewers will then break camp and head for Milwaukee, hosting the Chicago White Sox in a pair of exhibitions over the weekend before opening the regular season against the Rockies Monday afternoon at Miller Park.
