4-year-old still in critical condition after crash


MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) -  The young boy injured in Saturday’s crash on Wausau’s Thomas Street remains hospitalized in critical condition. 4-year-old Jordan Dixon was in a car seat when his father Michael Dixon drove into the bridge. Michael Dixon died at the scene. Jordan was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield for treatment of multiple injuries, including brain surgery.

Friends and relatives are actively using social media to help Jordan’s mother Natalie Fletcher organize various fundraisers to help with the child’s expenses. Already, several donation jars are at area businesses, people are recruiting bands to play for a benefit event, raffle prizes are being collected, and a donation website has been started.
