The Green Bay Packers will not have Stephen Jackson in Aaron Rodgers' backfield next fall. The St. Louis Rams free agent signed a three year deal with the Atlanta Falcons worth a reported 12 million dollars on Thursday. General Manager Ted Thompson had been discussing a three year deal with Jackson's agent but apparently backed away when the price rose to four million dollars a year for the 29 year old back. Meanwhile, free agent receiver Greg Jennings met with Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier, GM Rick Spielman and even Jared Allen over dinner in the twin cities Thursday night and will have another session Friday. The Packers believe they are still in the running to lure Jennings back after the free agent market softened. Jennings is among the last of receivers league wide to reach a deal.
