After getting shut out twice by the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend, the Atlanta Braves took out their frustration against Alfredo Figaro in the first inning of the series finale at Miller Park Sunday afternoon. Brian McCann launched a grand slam home run in the opening frame while Chris Johnson and Jordan Schafer added solo shots in building a 6-0 lead on their way to a 7-4 victory. Figaro lasted just three and a third innings, giving up six runs on nine hits. The Brewers tried to rally with a four run fifth inning. Logan Schafer delivered a two run single and Jonathan Lucroy followed that up with a two run homer, his 8th of the year. The Braves tacked on an insurance run in the 9th off reliever Jim Henderson to avoid the sweep. In the 4th inning, Carlos Gomez crashed into the centerfield wall and had to leave the game with a shoulder injury. It's not believed to be serious but he'll be examined Monday, a day off for the Crew before the Chicago Cubs come to town.
