The Detroit Tigers fall to the Minnesota Twins 6-3 tonight at Target Field. Anibal Sanchez struggled over three and two thirds innings, giving up five hits, including a home run to Tyler Plouffe, two runs, and four walks. Samuel Denudo made the start for the Twins, going seven innings, giving up seven hits and runs. Darin Downs was given the loss going two and a third innings, and giving up 3 runs. Jhonny Peralta had 2 RBI’s on a single up the middle. Joe Mauer and Brian Dozier drove in the other four runs for Minnesto. The Tigers finish the series with the Twins tomorrow, first pitch at 2:10.
