Ramirez 9th inning RBI helps Brewers knock off Philadelphia 5-4

MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - Aramis Ramirez scored an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting Milwaukee to a 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Friday night.

The win also snaps a five-game winning streak by the Phillies.

The Brewers rallied from a 4-0 deficit against Cliff Lee, who allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 7 innings.

The rally began in the 4th inning, behind a Yuniesky Betancout RBI double and an Alfredo Figaro RBI groundout.

Brewers tied the game on a Jean Segura RBI triple, then scored on a throwing error from the Phillies' Freddy Galvis.

Ramirez game-winning RBI shot into deep left field with one out in the 9th, scoring Segura.

Brewers look to make it two in a row with Tom Gorzelanny (1-0, 2.01 ERA) getting the start tonight. Pregame on 1360/97.5 WTAQ News Talk Sports is at 5:40 p.m.
