Despite the turmoil surrounding head coach Brian Wardle this spring, the Green Bay Phoenix basketball team has added a fourth player to it's incoming class. Vincent Garrett, a transfer from another troubled program at Rutgers, has signed on to play for Green Bay. The 6-6 guard appeared in 12 games for the Scarlet Knights. He has one year of eligibility remaining and Rutgers will apparently petititon the NCAA to allow Garrett to play immediately without sitting out a year. The Chicago native was a high school teammate of All Horizon League guard Kiefer Sykes. Garrett joins Tevin Findlay and Little Chute High School teammates Turner Botz and Kenneth Lowe on the Phoenix roster.
