Early offense, Gallardo gem helps Brewers shutout Miami 6-0

MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo threw a scoreless six-and-a-third innings of work, in a 6-0 win over Miami.

The Brewers scored early, off a Ryan Braun two-run double in the first inning. The bases were loaded again for the Brewers to deal more damage, but were unable to capitalize.

Brewers have now shutout Miami two straight games, a 24 innings scoreless streak for the Marlins.

The Crew go for the sweep this afternoon at Miller Park. Pregame on 1360/97.5 WTAQ is at 12:35 p.m., first pitch at 1:10 p.m.
