Final four of state high school summer baseball tournament Friday

MEQUON, WI (WTAQ) - A new champion will be crowned Friday, when the state high school summer baseball tournament is played in Mequon.

Four teams will try and succeed defending champion Oak Creek.

Sheboygan Falls will play West Bend in the first semi-final at noon, followed by Kettle Moraine against New Berlin West.

The winners will go for the state summer title at 6:35 p.m. Friday at Mequon’s Kapco Park.

West Bend West is playing in its 8th summer tourney in the last decade. Sheboygan Falls made the event for the 3rd year in a row.

Kettle Moraine is making its first appearance since 2008. New Berlin West has won 14 of its last 16 games.
