MADISON, WI  (WSAU)  The Governor will address the Legislature about his budget plans February 20th.  Scott Walker notified the state Senate on Wednesday that he will address the Legislature on that date.

Walker has been hinting about what his two-year spending plan will include, but few details have been released.  He has promised an income tax cut that would allow most families to keep about $200 dollars more of their income, totalling around $340 million dollars over two years.

After Walker delivers his budget to the Legislature, public hearings will be scheduled.  Legislators will then discuss the plan and make changes before voting on it in early June.
