LA CROSSE, WI (WSAU) - The man charged with killing a father and son in their La Crosse photography studio will go to trial in May. Jeffrey Lepsch of Dakota Minnesota faces two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, one count of armed robbery and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Lepsch claims he didn’t commit the crimes, but investigators say they have recovered items from the crime scene at his home.
Paul and A.J. Petras were both shot inside May’s Photo in downtown La Crosse this past September. Jury selection for the trial of Jeffrey Lepsch will be May 3rd, with opening arguments scheduled for May 6th before Judge Ramona Gonzalez.
