Packer games will be a bit more expensive in 2013. The team announced today it is increasing ticket prices on all stadium bowl seats for the upcoming season. Nearly half of the tickets will go up $2.00 to $74.00 a seat. Those seats are located in the end zone sections. For seats between the end zone and 20 yard lines, the price will increase $5.00 to $85.00 a ticket. The seats between the 20 yard lines will also go up by $5.00 to $97.00 a ticket. Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy in a letter sent out this week to season ticket holders, said, "These increases will keep us at about the league average in terms of ticket price, which is our goal. We want to be fair to the visiting teams in terms of shared revenue but also be as affordable as possible for you." The 2013 season will also mark the opening of the new south end zone upper deck. Murphy said, "We wanted to ensure that the pricing for seats in the bowl was coordinated with the pricing for the new seating." Those new end zone seats cost $82.00 or $89.00 a ticket. Payment is due in the Packers' ticket office by March 28.
