MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin kept the winless streak going for Bemidji State, edging the visitors at the Kohl Center Saturday night 3-2.

Bemidji State is winless in its last dozen games.

Kevin Schulze scored the game-winning goal midway through the second period. Keegan Meuer and Brendan Woods gave Wisconsin a fast start with first-period goals. After Meuer and Woods put Bucky on the board, Bemidji cut it to 2-1. A late goal made the final score a little closer.

Wisconsin’s record is now 12-9-7, including 9-6-7 in the WCHA.

Badgers goalie Landon Peterson made 18 saves, but a stout defensive effort meant he only had to face seven shots in the final period.
