Romo knows what Rodgers is going through

(WNFL) - Tony Romo knows exactly what Aaron Rodgers is going through.  The Dallas Cowboys' quarterback and Racine County native broke his left collarbone in the 2010 season, and he missed the Cowboys' final 10 games.  Romo, who's from Burlington, told Wisconsin reporters it's really hard to determine when a player can come back from a broken clavicle.  He said it's impossible to play when there's any discomfort -- but even without pain, he says the risk of a re-injury is very high unless the bone is totally healed.  Unlike Rodgers, Romo's collarbone was displaced.  At first, he was told it would take 6-to-8 weeks to recover -- but Romo said it was 10 weeks before he could do what he wanted to do on the field.  At the time, Dallas was out of the playoff picture so there was no hurry to bring him back.  The Packers are in a more urgent team situation.  They still have a chance to win the N-F-C North Division, as they're a half-game behind both Detroit and Chicago going into this weekend.  The Packers are 6-6-and-1, and they'll take on a 7-and-6 Cowboys team in Arlington Texas.
