(WNFL) - Milwaukee Brewers' manager Ron Roenicke says he doesn't need to hear the specifics about Ryan Braun's P-E-D use from 2011 to support his five-time All-Star. At Baseball's Winter Meetings, Roenicke said Braun made a mistake but quote, "This is a really good young man. If you are okay with people making mistakes, which I certainly am, you've got to look at what kind of person this guy is. This is a good guy." Roenicke said Braun knows he'll be booed by crowds on the road, and maybe by home fans at Miller Park. The skipper said animosity at home will probably disappear the better Braun plays. Roenicke said Braun took a positive step two weeks ago when he spoke with reporters. He refused to address or deny the national media reports that he was on a P-E-D regimen from the former Bio-Genesis clinic for much of the 2011 season. Roenicke also said Braun's move to right field next year will be a new venture, and he's got skills to do well there. Khris Davis will take over Braun's old spot in left.
