MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A major cleanup is taking place Tuesday at the Madison headquarters of the state Department of Natural Resources.
Agency spokesman Bill Cosh told the Wisconsin State Journal that a pipe burst in the building's heating system. Officials said flooding occurred in the basement plus floors one, two, three, five, six, and seven.
The agency was alerted to the problem around 6:15 a.m. at the eight-story structure.
Cosh said the building's cafeteria and licensing offices are closed today -- and the DNR is allowing employees to work from home Tuesday.
