Reds power their way to 6-3 win over Brewers

CINCINNATI, OH (WTAQ) - Four home runs by Cincinnati Reds players proved too costly for the Milwaukee Brewers, falling by a final of 6-3.

Milwaukee held onto a 2-1 lead until the 6th inning when Cincinnati’s Ryan Ludwick hit a solo home, followed by a two-run homer by Zack Cozart.

Brewers’ left fielder Caleb Gindl hit a solo home run in the 8th inning, but it wasn’t enough.

Relief pitcher John Axford was credited for the loss, allowing 3 earned runs and 3 hits in one inning.
