Peralta hit hard by Reds

Cincinnati Reds
Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds were able to split the four game series with the Brewers at Miller Park by rolling to a 9-1 victory in Milwaukee Sunday.   Wily Peralta fell to 8-13 by giving up seven runs on eight hits in four and a third innings.   Last month, Peralta shut out Cincinnati 2-0 but gave up five runs in the second inning and the Reds tacked on four more in the 5th.   Meanwhile, Homer Bailey shut down the Crew on three hits over 8 innings.  The Brewers managed only four in the game, Khris Davis had two of them including a solo home run in the 5th.  Milwaukee (54-70) continues the home stand hosting the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night.  Marco Estrada will be on the hill for Milwaukee. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:35 PM on WTAQ.
