After scoring 10 runs in each of the first two games of the weekend series in Seattle, the Milwaukee Brewers were shut down by Felix Hernandez Sunday as the Mariners posted a 2-0 victory. The former Cy Young Award winner pitched eight innings and allowed just four hits. Wily Peralta nearly matched Hernandez, pitching all eight innings and also giving up four hits, but one of them was a solo home run from Justin Smoak. The second run came in on a wild pitch. Peralta falls to 8-12 on the season. The Brewers (51-67) travel Monday to Arlington, Texas to open a two game series with the Rangers begining Tuesday night.
