Brewers bats come alive in 10-5 win over Seattle; Weeks out for season

SEATTLE (WTAQ) - Milwaukee put on a scoring display at Safeco Field Friday, defeating the Seattle Mariners 10-5.

First baseman Yuniesky Betancourt hit a grand slam in a big 5th inning for the Brewers. Pitcher Kyle Lohse picked up his 8th win of the season behind seven innings of work; allowing 6 hits, three runs and 7 strikeouts.

Some bad news, though – second baseman Rickie Weeks is done for the season, after an MRI reveals a torn left hamstring. Weeks was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Thursday, after suffering the injury on Wednesday night.
