Brewers fall in Frisco

The San Francisco Giants rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 at AT&T Park Monday night.  Tyler Thornberg starter for the Crew and gave up a run through six innings.   Juan Francisco had an RBI double for the 1-0 lead.   In the 8th, John Axford put a couple of runners on and gave way to Michael Gonzalez who was touched for a pinch hit, RBI single from Jeff Francour that put the Giants in front.  Jeff Bianchi then committed an error that allowed two more runs in.  Francisco added a solo home run in the 9th for the final margin.  Axford took the loss for the Brewers who have dropped four out of five.  Wily Peralta faces Matt Cain in game two of the series. Pre-game coverage begins at 8:40 PM on WTAQ.
