GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay police say a moped driver was struck by a drunk driver overnight.
Officers were called to the crash near Main Street and East Mason Street just after 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
A vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Green Bay man was driving the wrong-way on Main Street and hit a moped head-on.
The 22-year-old Green Bay man on the moped suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The car's driver was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but was released and taken to the Brown County jail. He's facing charges of 4th offense OWI, OWI causing great bodily harm and operation after revocation (OWI related).
The easbound lanes of Main from Mason to Bader Street are closed, but should reopen by 8 a.m.
