Brewers blanked in LA

Former Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw mowed down the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday afternoon at Dodgers Stadium as Los Angeles shut out the Crew 2-0.  Kershaw allowed just four hits with 12 strikeouts in eight innings for the win.  Kyle Lohse (1-2) took the loss for the Brewers, working seven frames, allowing two runs on five hits.  Two of the hits came from Carl Crawford who hit a pair of solo home runs including a first pitch, lead-off homer.   The Dodgers took the series two games to one as Milwaukee finished it's road trip at 3-3.  The Brewers (12-11) return to Miller Park for a nine game homestand beginning Monday night with the Central Division leading Pittsburgh Pirates (15-10), coming off a sweep of St. Louis.  Yovani Gallardo will face Wandy Rodriguez in the series opener.  Pre-game coverage on WTAQ begins at 6;35 PM.
