It'll be 20 years without a repeat playoff champion in the United States Hockey League. The defending Clark Cup champion Green Bay Gamblers were knocked out in the opening round by the Youngstown Phantoms. Green Bay's Christian Wolanin scored in the opening period on the road Sunday but Youngstown tied the game in the second. The Phantoms tallied twice in the third to beat Green Bay 3-1 and take the first round series three games to one. Youngstown will face Dubuque for the Eastern Conference title. The Fighting Saints swept Muskegon in three straight with a 3-2 overtime victory.
