MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Madison police say a group of motorists worked together to stop a suspected drunken driver on the Beltline Highway yesterday afternoon.
Witnesses say they spotted a car weaving, speeding up and slowing down, then rear-ending another car before slamming into the concrete median.
A tow truck driver says he turned on all his lights to keep other drivers away, then he and the driver of a minivan worked together to box in the car where it couldn't move.
The woman driving the minivan jumped into the suspect's car and put it in park.
Forty-four year old Sergio Corona of Madison was arrested on suspicion of second-offense operating while intoxicated.
Corona had a revoked license.
