Packers punter Tim Masthay on Wednesday was named the NFC's Special Teams Player of the week for his performance last Thursday night against the Chicago Bears. Masthay had five punts, averaging 47.6 yards a kick with a net average of 42 and putting three of his punts inside the 20. Green Bay held the dangerous Devin Hester to just 8 yards on two punt returns. Masthay also threw the first touchdown pass of his career, a shovel pass to Tom Crabtree on the memorable 27 yard touchdown off the fake field goal. It's the third time Masthay has been named the Special Teams player of the week, one in each of his first three years in the league.
