The UW Green Bay mens soccer team was back home for the first time since August 31 Tuesday night, taking on nationally ranked SIU-Edwardsville at Santaga Stadium. On a chilly, blustery night, the Cougars turned corner kick and free kick set plays into goals in a 90 second span in the first half and tallied another in the second half to win 3-0. Goal keeper Ryan Wehking made five saves in the net in his first game back in more than two weeks after spraining an ankle. Green Bay was outshot 15-7. The Phoenix (2-4-1) head back on the road this weekend traveling to Corvallis, Oregon for the Oregon State tournament. They'll take on the host Beavers Friday night and play Gonzaga on Sunday.
