The Milwaukee Brewers whacked the Miami Marlins with a two by four, winning 8-5 on Wednesday night scoring their runs 2 at time times four. Rickie Weeks belted a pair of two run home runs, Corey Hart added a two run shot and capped the night with a big, two run double in the top of the ninth inning. Willy Peralta was the winning pitcher making his first big league start. He allowed only a run through the first six innings but got into trouble in the 7th. Kameron Loe compounded the issue by giving up three hits and two runs while recording only one out but Jim Henderson got out of the jam and John Axford finished off the ninth for his 25th save. Peralta wound up working six plus ininngs allowing five hits and three runs. The Brewers have won 13 of their last 16 games to climb to within two games of .500 (67-69). They'll finish up the series in Miami Thursday afternoon with Marco Estrada on the mound before heading to St. Louis to play one of three teams still in front of them in the National League Wild Card chase.
