POUND, WI (WTAQ) - The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is proposing $184,000 in fines against a Pound company for unsafe working conditions.
The federal agency filed 16 violations this week against Northeastern Wisconsin Wood Products.
OSHA says the wood pallet manufacturer improperly exposed workers to amputation hazards.
In total, Northeastern Wisconsin Wood Products has been cited by OSHA for 55 violations as the result of six previous inspections.
The company says it will appeal the fines and is in the process of making changes to improve worker safety.
