GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Green Bay say a driver struck a natural gas line on the city's west side early Sunday after falling asleep at the wheel.
Authorities say it happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of 9th Street and Wood Lane.
The crash severed the gas line, causing natural gas to pour out until emergency crews could shut it off.
No one in the home was hurt and they had to be evacuated until the gas was turned off. The driver was also not hurt.
