MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A Sun Prairie man faces a possible life prison sentence, after he allegedly fled to Mexico soon after he was charged in a drug and weapons case.
28-year-old Jeff Teppo was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury in Madison. He’s charged with four counts of dealing cocaine, one count of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, and one count of violating court-imposed release conditions.
Teppo was originally charged a year ago, before he fled south to Mexico. He was arrested in that country 13 days ago, and was taken to the U.S. to face charges.
Teppo appeared in federal court in Houston October 9th before he was sent back to Madison.
