MADISON, WI (WSAU) - Wisconsin is closer to renewing SeniorCare. Department of Health Services Secretary Dennis G. Smith Monday announced Wisconsin’s SeniorCare application has met the requirements for a complete application and has advanced to the next phase of the approval process.
Governor Scott Walker is pleased about the Seniorcare application moving closer to renewal, saying it is, “an efficient, cost effective choice for Wisconsin seniors.” and that he is, “pleased to hear we are one step closer to renewing the program.”
The next step in the application process is a 30-day federal comment period that ends on Nov. 8, 2012. If approved, the renewal will keep the program intact through 2015.
