The Hollywood couple parted ways back in March (12) and they are working as co-parents to raise their three daughters, Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five.
Facinelli is determined to spend quality time with his girls following the breakdown of his marriage and they have been getting back to nature together in a series of family trips in a motorhome.
He tells People.com, ""When you're going through it (co-parenting) yourself, you have to take it day by day... I take the girls RV-ing (on recreational vehicle trips) all the time... There's a lot of... singing by the campfire. It's something about being in the woods. It slows everything down and you're a part of nature and just spending time with your family. It's pretty great. They bring out my sensitive side and I toughen them up a little bit...
""Co-parenting takes two great parents to put their differences aside and focus on the children and that's what I've been doing.""
