APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Police need the public's help in tracking down a driver who hit a dog on Appleton's west side Sunday morning.

Authorities say it happened at the corner of Mason Street and Parkway Blvd. around 8:30 a.m.

The car is described as a white and possibly tan station wagon-type vehicle. 

After hitting the black Yorkshire terrier/poodle mix, the vehicle continued north on Mason St.
