UW Green Bay and UW Milwaukee played a spirited soccer match Wednesday night at Aldo Santaga Stadium for the Chancellor's Cup, but after 110 minutes, a winner wasn't settled and the Panthers retained the Cup after a 2-2 draw. Green Bay (2-7-2, 0-2-2 Horizon League) drew first blood with a goal from Whitney Brown. Defrim Ramushevski made it 2-0 early in the second half but the Panthers, coached by Kris Kelderman, the head coach at Green Bay last season, rallied to tie. Both teams had chances but fell in overtime. Phoenix first year coach Dan Popik is still looking for his first Horizon League victory.
In womens soccer, Green Bay lost on the road at Cleveland State 1-0 in overtime to fall to 3-8-1 on the year, 0-2-1 in conference play.
