GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Following a national search, the city of Green Bay has selected a new public works director.

Steven Grenier currently serves as the assistant public works director, and will replace Ed Wiesner who'll retire in December.

Grenier has been with the city since 2007.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for snow removal, street cleaning/maintenance, traffic control, sewer maintenance, parking, engineering along with leaf and garbage pickup.
