The actress, who plays Lucy Ewing in the revamped TV soap, was forced to pull out of a festive production of Sleeping Beauty at the Grand Opera House in York earlier this year (12), due to work commitments.

But she won't miss out on the fun completely after signing on to play the Wicked Queen in the Pasadena Playhouse's A Snow White Christmas, opposite Neil Patrick Harris and Victorious star Ariana Grande.

The production, directed by So You Think You Can Dance's Bonnie Lythgoe debuts on 13 December (12).
