UNDATED (MetroSource-WSAU) Gas prices are falling in Wisconsin.
AAA-Wisconsin says the average price to start the week is $2.35, down a nickel a gallon in the past week. Summer travel tends to decrease after Independence Day, and oil inventories are plentiful. Crude oil has also drifted downward after the Brexit vote. It’s now trading at $47 a barrel.
Drivers in Madison have the lowest prices, paying $2.19 a gallon, while Green Bay has the state’s highest average price at $2.48. Green Bay prices have been impacted by a pipeline that’s out of service and will have to be rebuilt.
